We have been together for 3 years and this Christmas I am going to get her a diamond solitaire engagement ring. I have been learning all about diamonds in order to pick her the best ring I can afford. She wears white gold jewelry now so I want the diamond solitaire engagement ring to also be white gold or platinum. I am so nervous about asking her to marry me. I just want everything to be perfect. I plan on giving her the diamond solitaire engagement ring at her parents house in front of her family.
